   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold mostly steady. Demand
good. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily to the ethnic
market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold steady on moderate
demand. Slaughter Holstein steers sold steady. Not enough Slaughter
heifers last week for a comparison. Slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 lower.
Demand moderate. Slaughter bulls steady to weak on a light test. Cattle
supplies included 183 steers; 122 heifers; 440 cows; 28 bulls; and
18 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Graded Holstein 
bull calves sold mostly steady to 30.00 lower with Number 1 and 2 calves 
selling sharply lower. Holstein heifer calves traded mostly steady on 
another light test. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program 
graded 448 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt.

individual 80.00. Number 2  112-122 lbs 60.00-70.00; 94-110 lbs 80.00-85.00;
